My take on Gus,
Those of you who know me, will get this. I have bit my tongue for a few days, on this, but no more.
There are many times, over the years, I had to " get physical" with LilBit, in order to protect her.
Be it to pull her outta the way of a foul ball at a ball game, to catching her when she fell off the couch while dancing.
I did exactly what Tim did, I protected my child.
No one called me an abuser, they called me,LilBit's Dad.
Well done Gus's Dad !!!

There is a very short video (a couple of seconds is what I've heard, though I have not sought nor viewed it) in which Tim Walz holds Gus by the arm and takes Gus off-stage. I've criticism of it, and I've heard comments to the effect that what he did is not unusual for parents and caretakers of neuro-divergent kids, both from conservative people. The latter POV I heard from parents with experience with such kids, so I'm inclined to believe them.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

I have seen Cesar Millan jerk the leash of an out of control dog during training, never considered it appropriate for humans.

Screw your take on "Gus", as I didn't see it, didn't mock him, nor have I read a single conservative do so.

I have two words for you: Trig Palin. And I brought the receipts:

CHILD ABUSE! Downs Syndrome babies are particulary sensitive to light and noise
When Sarah Palin decided to have her child (or...) Trig exposed to loud noise and extreme light at night with Downs Syndrome, she was not only abusing the poor child but also used the baby as a prop for some kind of political gain.

This should be reported IMMEDIATELY.

Still No Medical Records from Palin

Source: abcnews

ABC News' Kate Snow reports: With three days left until the election, the John McCain campaign still has not, despite frequent requests, released any information about vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's medical history, prompting some well-warranted skepticism.

Of course there are plenty of perfectly innocent explanations. The governor is perfectly healthy and the campaign feels no public pressure to release information? The doctor is on vacation and unreachable?  The dog ate their records?

There are also more sinister explanations. But we won't go there.

Last Sunday morning, Palin spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt told ABC News that Palin's staff planned to release information regarding her medical history early in the week. That was six days ago. http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/10/still-n... ABC News has asked repeatedly about the status of the release of information and received no updates from the campaign. It is unclear what is holding things up.

It's after 11 pm -- what kind of mother keeps an infant up past 11 pm?
Why is Palin's baby at the debate in the first place? Are they so desperate that they have to use an infant as a prop?

As a woman, Sarah Palin makes me angry.
Advertisements [?]I have had a day to think about this pick. I am a proud feminist, pro-choice and have been a Democrat all of my life. The pick of Sarah Palin makes me so angry I want to scream. She stands for every single thing I find reprehensible. She is anti-choice, pro-gun, pro-corporations and anti-environmentalist. Her idea of fun is caging an animal and killing it for shits and giggles. And while she is spouting this insane drivel equal to Ann Coulter she has the audacity to have this "aw shucks...just a hockey mom" attitude.

**** Her.

This goes beyond me hating her for her politics. There is not a woman on the planet who has not been passed over by someone younger, prettier or dumb enough to play along with a charade. How dare she compare herself to Hillary Clinton. When she makes that comparison, I want to grab her by her ponytail and pull. Ms. Palin has the education of a receptionist, the experience of being the mayor of a small town and running that into the ground. She is under investigation as Governor in the 48th least populous state for a personal vendetta.

When I hear that Barack and Joe should hold off and be nice because she is a woman it pisses me off. She is applying the big job. With McCain a 4-time cancer survivor and current dementia patient, she has more of a chance of taking the office than Joe Biden, who himself is more than qualified for the job as Commander and Chief if god forbid, Barack Obama would be unable to continue. I am sure those Dictators will make sure not to hurt her feelings. When you are a woman, you have to know how to play with the boys on the playground. If she is not up to that, she is not up to the job of President of the United States.

:hi5: Partisanship is DU-folks’ bread. So their poutrage is predictably and reliably partisanly selective.
