Michigan AG Nessel calls Biden a 'modern-day George Washington' https://www.democraticunderground.com/100219212968
Back when the coup against Biden forced him to “voluntarily” withdraw from the election, I saw some compare Biden to George Washington. I don’t know if they were purposely lying or if they were just completely ignorant. With dems and the media it's hard to tell, but neither is really a good look. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I’m ignorant of history, but here’s how I see it…
*George Washington successfully led the colonies against, what was at the time, the world’s superpower.
*Joe Biden had a successful standoff with Corn Pop who was a bad dude.
**George Washington, after helping to lead the colonies to victory over Britain, wanted to retire. He didn’t really want to be president, but he finally gave in to the people who wanted him to for the job.
**Joe Biden, after getting paid for several years as a senator, very much wanted to be president. After dropping out of the 1988 presidential election due to accusations of plagiarism and exaggeration, he unsuccessfully ran again in 2008.
***George Washington, after serving two terms as president, chose to retire even though some wanted him to hold the office for another term.
***Joe Biden, after finally obtaining the office he’d long desired, repeatedly claimed to be running for reelection before finally dropping out after being “requested” to do so by members of his party.
Yeah, they are almost identical.
