Republicans are huddled. They are worried. They chose a convicted felon as their nominee for President and he is dropping like a rock in the polls. This does not bode well for many of them. They could lose their seats.

Unfortunately, they have made their bed and they have to sleep in it.

They chose a weak candidate who is a poor debater and gaffe-prone, and she's now been challenged to three debates. Any debate at all could expose her flaws. They can't hide her forever. She's been reduced to ripping off Trump's policy proposals.

You're forgetting part of it:
They were so desperate that they had to stoop to hiring an obscene, talentless, brainless (c)rapper with the most idiotic stage name in history to get up on stage and thrust her butt around while jabbering her foul, asinine lyrics for a few minutes as an opening act in order to get people to come in and see Kamala speak, and many of those audience members left the very minute that the (c)rapper in question finished.

At least Trump didn't sleep his way to the top unlike a certain VP and now Presidential candite. Oh and when it comes to who has actually done something and plenty to show for it as opposed to someone that has had 90+ % of her staff quit and was put in charge of the border and failed to do anything about it, and has nothing but a history of jailing people to the point that they almost were wrongly convicted isn't someone you want to hitch your wagon to.
