We need press conference RULES!
1. A mic in the center aisle of the press crowd
2. Reporters approach mic one at a time
3. They say who they are and what media outlet they represent
4. They ask their question(s).
5. They request follow-up, if any.
6. They sit down.
7. Next reporter approaches mic.

One major problem with these current media feeding frenzies is that no one knows who these "reporters" are and who they represent. I realize there's no Dan Rather or Helen Thomas or Howard K. Smith or Eric Sevareid out there in this era of fluff-chick Kaitlins and brainless Brads looking for their "gotcha" moment. But after watching the epic media-slamming takedown by Lawrence O'Donnell last night, I'm convinced that order needs to be restored for America to learn anything. And if there's no order in the press conference, as in Trump's verbal diarrhea yesterday, don't show it!

I spent a career in media, on both sides of that mic, and what I see now is fully revolting.

Did any DUmmie call out LPC noob Charging Triceratops omission of, "8. Every reporters question must start with a lie about Donald Trump and attack him before the actual question"? That omission deserves, at least, a 1-day time-out.

So, what triggered Charging Triceratops' post? DU-folk almost never give the context of their rantings. Did a reporter or three call out, "Mr. President?!" as Joe tried to bumble his way off a press conference podium?
