I have this strange feeling that I haven't felt in so long
It is pure unadulterated joy! I was a reluctant Harris supporter but have been pleasantly surprised at how she has evolved into this role.
I was a Biden doomsday supporter—hated how that went down but want to thank him for his love of country and for returning my joy!
She evolved into the carefully crafted role designed by the Dem elites and big money donors. And, predicably, you have all fallen into line to get behind her. But, nice to hear how depressed you were with Biden. Join the rest of the country.

2. I'm guessing there's a lot of folks here that feel just like you. It's nice to feel optimism for a
change. No, it's great!
Having said that, knock on wood and don't let up. Our country is at stake!
Yep, absolutely nothing to feel optimistic about while Joe destroyed our country.

5. I am feeling motivated and hopeful
We're going to our county Democratic election office next week for their volunteer fair. Can't wait to get my Harris signs I've ordered and can't wait to donate more money to her campaign.
The tide has turned and the Kamala momentum is growing. We are winning and we will outwork them.
Tim Walz is a folk hero, the country is going to adore him and he's going to win a lot of middle America voters we had written off in the past.
Tim Walz is a folk hero? There are very few people who have even heard of him. Folk heroes tend to at least have a little name recognition.

8. This election will go down as Biden's
greatest achievement. His selfless stepping down as the candidate and his careful endorsement and launch of Kamala.
I agree. Biden's greatest political achievement was to get out of politics. The damage he's done to the country cannot be understated and his retirement is long overdue.

30. I haven't felt real joy for years
I was going to jump up and down, but I don't want to break my knee replacements. So I was doing the next best thing since: jumping in my chair, petting my cat.

35. Flags are coming back out.
A lot of the oldsters in my senior community have been absolutely depressed about the future of this country. Doesn't matter lifelong Republican, Democrat or true indies. Nearly all have been feeling rather dark about the future that awaits their grandkids and great grand - primarily because MAGA is hell bent on burning it down.
In the last 2 -3 weeks I've seen more American flags coming back out. Tonight, I just got home from helping one of the neighbors fix her pole mount so she could put hers back out. She's not had it out since J7. If the geezers are waking up, I can't even imagine what it is like for the youngers.
Yep, the last few years have been depressing.

40. If Harris/Walz win
Joe Biden will get the longest standing ovation on record at the inauguration. Even if I'm at home watching on TV, I'm going to stand up alone in my living room and clap. I'll look like an idiot. But, I'll feel fine.
Don't sell yourself short. You look like an idiot every day of the week.
So, the DUmmies are in agreement. Biden was a terrible president. His greatest achievement was leaving politics. And, after being told who to support, they are all in lock-step for Kamala. Only took a couple of weeks to get to this point. In a few more weeks they will claim that they always thought this way. George Orwell would use them as a case study in group think.
