I doubt she literally had her windows open so she could smell burning tires. I think she was just expressing her "solidarity" with the rioters and looters.

The burning tires smelled like money to them. They knew valuable properties would sell for pennies to their friends and donors. As well as contracts to rebuild.

Why doesn't this surprise me? They like the smell of tires burning and watching the world turn to Hell. Is this the kind of leadership they actually want because if it is then maybe they need to get use to the idea of loving the smell of their homes going up in flames when the same people they support turn on them.
