Sarah Palin on God:

GIBSON: You said recently, in your old church, "Our national leaders are sending U.S. soldiers on a task that is from God." Are we fighting a holy war?

PALIN: You know, I don't know if that was my exact quote.

GIBSON: Exact words.

PALIN: But the reference there is a repeat of Abraham Lincoln's words when he said -- first, he suggested never presume to know what God's will is, and I would never presume to know God's will or to speak God's words.

But what Abraham Lincoln had said, and that's a repeat in my comments, was let us not pray that God is on our side in a war or any other time, but let us pray that we are on God's side.

That's what that comment was all about, Charlie.

I'm waiting to see if Obama's questions are as pointed.  Good questions, they need to be asked and answered by BOTH candidates.

She did better than Obama on O'Reilly, and Gibson was out for blood.

Darn good interview for Sarah.  A couple places where he tried a dirty check (in hocky terms) and got pounded into the ice.


There was a lot of talk if Palin could handle an interview.  She showed she could do a very good job with an interview like this.


Now lets see if Obama can handle as pointed an interview with someone like Hanity or VanSustren?   Has he met either of them yet?

This will riase the rating for Gibson's show through the roof, as people will want to watch her do something like this.  As far as I am concerned she scored on him several times.

I knew it.  it was a minefield.  one "gotcha" question after another.  the MSM, after protecting obama
for 19 months, is out for Sarah's Blood.

the MSM thinks that she is, as lincoln chafee said, a cocky whacko.  no, a religious zealout cocky whacko, and they consider it their job to prove it.  this will all come out in the wash.  the MSM will actually help elect her president.  they have already started the process.

the thing on fox was done on 9/11 intentionally.  it was ostensibly a discussion about national service, which is connected to 9/11 in various ways.  the Palin interview just worked out that way.
