Well a day has passed, and they've gotten through denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance and have moved on to the sixth stage of DUmmy grief: Delusion.

President Biden's slyest move
He waited until Mother****er went from presumptive to confirmed nominee before his announcement. Suddenly, I get the feeling that this was a PSYOPS's PSYOPS.
And I couldn't be more pleased.
Let's crush these mother****ers in November.
How does that even make any sense?

1. The timing gives dems the advantage in so many ways,, I'm leaning 4d chess ... Dems have picked up 2 more convention ...
... viewers
And what exactly are those advantages, other than not having to make excuses every time Biden opens his mouth?

3. Yes the more we see the plan unfold, the better it looks.
Yes it is looking like there was a great deal of thought put into it.
A lot of moving parts all working together.
The plan was to force Biden out and disregard the will of his primary voters. Requiring an ID to vote is voter suppression, but tossing the votes in the trash is completely OK.

5. It is a move that will be legend in American political history. Biden was biding his time.
Sly is the word. Nothing Donnie can do about it except try to sue. Ha!
We should not be surprised that the greatest political minds have been in politics all their lives and have 6th, 7th, and 8th instincts for what is really happening, what is possible, what will work, when to play.
I'm thinking of Speaker Pelosi on Jan 6, 2021, knowing, insisting, that Congress reconvene that very evening to complete the certification of Electoral College ballots for the election. She sensed there could be a second part to the plot.
In the current situation, Biden knew, and history books will someday reveal where, when, how he decided to drop out of the race. Much, much forethought and planning went into this. While the polls of the last month may have confirmed the decision to go through with it, it's not something that was cooked up in isolation over such a short time span. It was always an option. Joe is protecting democracy! Oh, and by the way. He's a lame duck now, with immunity for his official acts, and there are executive orders, and other powers to persuade, influence, suggest, bully pulpet that are open to a sitting president.
I'm sure Biden is a legend in his own mind. His cognitive skills are on a level so exceptional they have never been seen before. Let's hope he issues a whole bunch of illegal Executive Orders to punish our enemies.

16. If anyone had the cahoots to do it it would be Biden.
Was it the plan before or after the debate?
It would be difficult to implement and keep it from coming out.
So, here's another DUmmy completely comfortable with the concept that Biden has been lying to them for months, while concurrently begging for their support and money.

6. I don't think it was planned that way at all, but it doesn't matter.
I think he intended to stay in until increasingly bad polling and fund-raising reports (probably influenced at least in part by the media's constant references to his poor debate performance) convinced him that he was in serious danger of losing. Not wanting to risk turning the government over to Trump he finally (and apparently reluctantly) decided to step down, much to the surprise of almost everybody, including many of his closest aides. Politicians who are considering quitting a campaign don't signal it in advance; they don't release or even leak statements suggesting they might not stay in, since that would effectively kill any remaining chances they might have to turn a faltering campaign around - they are adamantly and absolutely in until suddenly they're out. I don't think this was a clever ruse designed to confound Trump's campaign; I think it's exactly what it seemed to be. The polls weren't good, the donations were slowing, and the RNC was probably the final straw. The assassination attempt made Trump look strong while Biden was stuck at home with covid following a widely-panned debate performance. It wasn't going to get better, as much as a lot of us hoped it would and that he'd stick it out. But the result, as sad and painful as the process was, will turn out to be a triumph, I think, and he'll be remembered as the president who sacrificed his career to save the country.

7. Anyone who believes
That this was a better than him not seeking re-election and allowing a candidate to be picked by the voters in the primaries is kidding themselves.
We are stronger than we were a few days ago, but this is still not an ideal situation.
Good to see not all of them are completely insane, but they will probably be banned soon.
