I just can't!

I can't do it anymore, or maybe more accurately, I can't DU it anymore.

I am tired of pretending. It's exhausting!

I am tired of the media, the Retrumplican Party, some Democrats, "friends", neighbors, family, co-workers, fellow parishioners and fellow Americans, pretending that orange, fascist, rapist, ignorant, pompous, ridiculous asspickle should be within 1,000 miles of the White House.

President Biden is being savaged over a debate performance at a debate, that I argued at the time, should never have happened. Donnie Dipshit doesn't deserve to share a stage with the leader of the free world. At it's best, all that debate would provide was just one more example of pretending he should be there. It would be like FDR agreeing to debate the leader of America's Nazi party in 1944.

Donnie Dipshits entire life is dependent on pretending.

He was gifted today's equivalent to $1B from his father, that he promptly squandered. He stiffed contractors, defrauded taxpayers, lost money running a casino and has filed bankruptcy at least 4 times. People pretend he's a great businessman.

He defrauded taxpayers of over $450M, sexually abused multiple women, defamed them, and was recently, after decades of criminality, convicted of 34 felonies (with 51 additional felony charges pending). People pretend he is an honest man.

He had a 30 second cameo in Home Alone 2, and pretends that he was the reason the film was successful, and is upset that he didn't win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.

He has admitted grabbing women by the *****, because he can, lusts after his daughter, walked into dressing rooms while young girls are undressed, ****ed a porn star while his 3RD wife was home with an infant, sent a violent mob to hang his Vice President, kissed Putin and Kim Jon Ung's asses in public and wanted the military to shoot peaceful protesters...(I am running out of room here)...people pretend he's a good "family man".

What the **** has become of our values, standards and morals?

If that ignorant orange ****stick is selected again, then everything I have ever been taught, or believe about honor, integrity, empathy, compassion, fairness, right and wrong, courage and the Rule of Law has been a God Damned LIE!!!

My favorite band had a fantastic song that included the following lyric; "we'll be fighting in the street, with our children at our feet, and the morals that they worship will be gone"

Never knew that was what America would choose in 2024.

Don't get me wrong. I will do my early vote this year, just like I always do, and I will vote straight Dem, but I promise you. I will not watch one ****ing second of "news", and this will be my last visit to, or post on DU until after this election. Hope I come back to an America I recognize, but I am unplugging. I am going to spend my time talking to my neighbors, family, friends, fellow parishioners and fellow Americans about how we can all stop pretending that Donnie Dipshit should ever be within 1,000 miles of the White House.

3. Folks think we still live in a functioning Democracy. We don't!!

Let me demonstrate how this will work.

Retrumplicans will "find", or buy-off some Democratic voters in Texas. These Dems will sue, claiming they have standing, and are being disenfranchised.

They'll file in front of some Donnie Dipshit appointed judge, who will issue a national injunction banning President Biden from being replaced a the Democratic nominee.

The "Supreme" Court will agree to hear the case, but will leave the nationwide injunction in place while they "ponder" the merits. Briefs will be ordered for December 2024.

Would that create a Constitutional crisis? They don't give a ****.
