I have also seen an accurate reenactment, below are a few screen shots.
Hi-5 because that was funny. Unfortunately, it was also basically true.
This situation brings to mind a situation from a couple of years back. Someone had shot some people. I can't remember what type of weapon was used, but the media was naturally ranting about it being an AR style assault rifle. I happened to mention to my wife that the media ranting about the weapon instead of focusing on the shooter (in order to demonize guns) pissed me off. My wife said that she kind of agreed when it came to assault rifles because they were just for killing people. I went on the 'net and downloaded photos of two rifles. They were both the same caliber (but I can't remember what that was). They both had 10 round (I believe) magazines. The only real difference between the two was that one had a beatiful stained wooden stock and the other was completely black with a composite stock and all the little "scary looking" add ons. I showed them to her and asked which one was the hunting rifle and which one was the assault rifle. Naturally, she pointed to the rifle with wooden stock and said it was a hunting rifle and pointed to the "scary looking" one and said it was an assault rifle. When I told her that they were essentially the same rifle except for appearence she was surprised.
To be honest, for a long while when it comes to guns, I've been trying to figure out if the media knows better and are just blatantly lying or if they are just completely ignorant and purposely stay that way. I don't put either one past them.
