I’m becoming more of the viewpoint that this was planned, they knew he wouldn’t hold up, that the media was given its orders to jump ship on Biden, that Clinton and Obama would give very vague statements of support but mainly focus their responses towards “we gotta beat Trump”, that sometime before the convention (maybe 2 weeks before) they’ll announce Joe won’t run (and it’ll be for a reason other than his mental decline), they'll find someone to rally behind (probably already been chosen), they’ll corral the Dem delegate sheep to vote for them, and that’ll be their candidate.

They're screwed either way. Michelle doesn't want it. They can't kick aside Kamala, or they lose what they have left of the black voters they have, Whitmer is a disaster, and Gavin has DISMAL record in California. If they do choose Kamala, who is hated by a lot of people, not just conservatives, it's a guaranteed win. Tulsi would excoriate Kamala in ads. She didn't receive one damn delegate in 2020. She also kept people on death row after they'd been exonerated. Not to mention keeping people past their sentence expiration for free labor.

The immediate leftist overreaction was incredibly dire, and based on what I've read has transpired on the Sunday shows, they are now rallying around Comatose Joe. From my understanding, it is damn near impossible to replace him due to Democrat party rules unless he withdraws or passes. (And I'm not wishing him to die, he needs to be around to be the useful idiot for the Democrats and fodder for us).

The Democrat bench is incredibly weak, and unless you're a political wonk like most of us are they don't realize what tall odds a replacement candidate would be against. Which might help RFK Jr.  Most of the prominent leftists are running bad states, older than dirt, or socialist lunatics such as Omar, AOC, or Tlaib.

Your guess is as good as mine at this point.

That possibility, apparently, is being noised about in Dem circles. This article has what should be sobering polling info, New Poll Pits Biden Replacements Against Trump, and Hoo Boy!!! Maybe, maybe, had Dems started the Replace Biden process in spring last year, with Biden's cooperation, some alternate candidate could have built up the image and name recognition needed, but this is way late. Hypotheticals aside, LIEden would not have cooperated, blacktivists would have gone Harris-or-Nobody, and the few Dems with something close to decent name recognition - e.g. Kammie, Buttigieg, Pelosiroo, Chuckles, Schifftyroo, etc. -  are more noxious than popular.
