does alaska typically go blue in presidential elections? just remember its a huge land mass with very few people there, and it could have one county (like many states) that turns the whole thing one way or the other..

If those vote totals are correct, this is indeed a telling indicator of the obamassiah love. 200K is not a random sampling.
