These "Trump smells" threads are getting on my nerves.
My daughter smells too, or did until just before her 5th birthday. She had undiagnosed ulcerative colitis, which gave her uncontrollable bouts with diarrhea. I'd been fighting with her doctor who insisted nothing was wrong with her for most of a year by that point. And diapers are not much of a match for ulcerative colitis in an almost 5-year old.

She may smell again - she was hospitalized for most of a month this year while they debated removing part or all of her colon. Ostomies are much easier to handle than they used to be - but there are still ill-fitting bags, or the occasional leak.

My grandma smelled too - until she died at 101 from c. diff. A disease that gave her repeated bouts with uncontrollable diarrhea, in a nursing home that is (as most of them are) chronically understaffed.

My mom at 92 smells too. She has IBS and uncontrollable flatulence.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Franklin Roosevelt (paralyzed from the waist down) smelled.

To be blunt, shit (and flatulence) happen. And they stink. It's a part of life, and it is more a part of life of those who are elderly, or living with disabilities that make it impossible to completely control our bowels and their output.

What are we - 12?

At the risk of sounding like a broken record - When you make fun of Trump for a condition that many people share (probably including a bunch of folks reading these threads) you are telling those people exactly what you think of them, and it ain't pretty.

Ridicule him for something other than a medical condition shared by a lot of folks we love.
