My favorite Nevada Judge
« on: September 09, 2008, 10:44:37 PM »
back in the news again:

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A suspended judge who remains hospitalized after being beaten at her home told police her husband was trying to clean up blood with bleach when officers responded to her 911 call.

District Judge Elizabeth Halverson told police that her husband, Edward, “was using the bleach to clean up all the blood that was splattered in the bedroom from him striking and beating her,” a police report said.

Officers discovered an empty bleach bottle in a master bedroom trash can, the report said.

According to the report, arriving officers found the 50-year-old judge sitting on her bed and bleeding profusely, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Tuesday.

Officers noted she had “gaping wounds” on her head, and her scalp was partially removed.

She told police her husband tried to kill her by beating her with a frying pan.

She was beaten?

I remember reading all the articles you posted about her getting removed from the bench but I hadn't heard this latest development.

What preceded it?

Yea  Yea I'm going to hell for that one eh .
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Was that the big cow in a wheelchair? If so, maybe she tried to order him around like she did the court personel.

apparently this guy has a long felony and prison record of theft, drugs, etc and so it not a very nice guy..and finally SNAPPED
his plan was devilishly clever tho, find a fat judge no one else would even talk to, marry her, then be sure to have legal protection for your crimes.  You would be amazed how many men see a fat woman with a good job and no self esteem as an easy meal ticket!
