Do folks that are not Americans and live here without a work visa get an American drivers license ?
If so, how ?
Or can they just drive on their country issued drivers license with no questions asked during a traffic stop ?

20 some years ago there was a radio co-host in Chicago on a non-political daily show who suggested there should be one lane on all expressways for people without insurance. AKA, our visitors from another country most likely.

Dang, that was difficult.  I need to lay down for a little bit now. 

BTW lurkers, the fact that non citizens CAN get driver's licenses in several states is an issue with the motor voter bills so many leftists like.  Automatically registering someone to vote when they get a license means putting non-citizens on the voter rolls.  And we know how well those are cleaned up and monitored.   ::)
