And why is this more important than every shitty thing these republicans have done and are trying to do to destroy our democracy? She never makes a peep about that! Imagine if this was a Bush or Trump child.  Bigtime drug user.  Illegal gun purchase.  Gun disposed of in a trash can behind a grocery store across the street from a High School where it was found by a bum (who fortunately turned it in so it didn't end up on the streets).  The gun was thrown away by Hunter's sister-in-law, who he was sleeping with at the time.  Biden's Secret Service detail tried to cover up the purchase.

And what I find amusing is that the DUmp is filled with threads about how he shouldn't be prosecuted.  Everyday they have threads demanding more gun laws, up to and including mass confiscation of all guns.  Also amusing is how they are claiming that those of us who support the 2nd Amendment are hypocrites for not protesting this case.  Gun owners aren't for the unlimited availability of weapons.  They are against criminals having guns.  But the Democrats keep trying to introduce new laws to punish law abiding citizens.  Enforce the laws on the books before any new gun restrictions are put to a vote.  But that would adversely affect one of their key demographic groups and probably be considered racist.

That’s the problem, when prosecuting people who commit crimes with a gun involved they usually don’t add the extra charge so the laws are useless.

How about they also re-capture the "merchant of death" and reclaim all the weapons of war and actual assault weapons left behind in Afghanistan for our enemies to use against us before they are allowed to create any new "common sense gun laws".
