They did donate as well, but in standard rage baiting, number manipulating, but not entirely incorrect, modern "journalism", we get the headline of "donate less than .05% of their total wealth"

$10 million is a big chunk of cash to put into anything.  Can both of these folks afford to give more? Certainly. Should we (or anyone else) really be getting butthurt cause they are using their free choice not too?  I really don't think so, but that's my opinion. 

In all reality, I would love to see all these compassionate, mostly liberal rich folks dump their money into paying off people's hospital bills, student loans, mortgages, bankrolling mental health facilities, funding school programs (without slapping their names all over everything), ect.  But freedom and capitalism say they get to make those choices.

If every dollar goes to the people then there is really nothing to complain about. Unlike when people donated to the Haitian earth, quake fund, and the money went to the Clinton foundation, and some of it disappeared.

Most people don’t realize that even though these people are billionaires, they don’t have piles of hundred dollar bills laying around. Their wealth is tied up in businesses, property investments, and it’s not liquid cash.

Is there a news report showing that Oprah has bought land on Maui since the fire? Besides the usual conspiracy-theory crap-accusations flying around, I do not think government works that fast, even when there isn't an emergency occupying its workers.

I'm more pissed at the a**hats in DC who have sent countless billions to a bunch of communists in Ukraine when it could have been given back to the people they stole it from in the first place.
