VIDEO: "Dr." Peter Hotez Claims Ivermectin KILLS People

Can someone out there PLEASE examine the bank account of "Dr." Peter Hotez? He just has to be paid Big Bucks by Big Pharma for spouting the nonsense that Ivermectin KILLS people. He even estimated that 200,000 people have died because of Ivermectin as he did in this recent interview with the Todd Unger, Chief Experience Officer (whatever that means) of the American Medical Association. What makes Hotez's IVERMECTIN KILLS declaration so scary is that it was made on an official AMA video with the full approval of Unger.

Hotez has an MD degree from Cornell as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree from The Rockefeller University, so "scare quotes" are uncalled for. He has earned doctorates, including in medicine. That said, if Hotez actually claimed ivermectin kills people, he would be lying, knowingly. His specialties are tropical diseases and parasitology.

But that is NOT what Hotez said. Transcribing the quote from the beginning of the video: "... (inaudible part of a word) touting ivermectin over the vaccine. That kills people." Hotez did not say that ivermectin kills people. His clear meaning is that using ivermectin instead of a vaccine would kill people. Love it or hate it, absent one or more clear, careful, large-scale (perhaps 30,000-60,000 persons, as was done with the Covid vaccines in 2020?) study, Hotez's statement is a reasonable opinion.

Since accusing someone you disagree with of being "paid Big Bucks by Big Pharma" seems to come so easily to you, I will preemptively state that my career has zero to do with pharmaceuticals or anything medical, I have no investments that I know of in pharmaceuticals or anything medical, and my only income comes the tech company that employs me. i.e. So a very roundabout way of claiming that Ivermectin will kill you because you will use it instead of vaccines. What's to blame for the killing according to Hotez? Ivermectin. Not because it is unsafe but because you will choose it (which is completely safe) over vaccines (which at this point is like playing medical Russian Roulette). Yeah, I've had my shot and booster but knowing what I know now, any more boosters is like playing Russian Roulette. Maybe it will help but maybe.... (You know the rest).

Hotez clearly stated that using Ivermectin instead of vaccine KILLS people. That sure sounds like he is blaming Ivermectin. He wasn't blaming Snickers candy bars. He wasn't blaming pretzels. He wasn't blaming baby aspirin. He blamed a compeletely safe drug that actually WORKS... Ivermectin.

What struck me is how authoritarian Hotez and the interviewer were. They hold this notion of "we're the purveyors of truth and those who who see it differently and encourage others to examine what we say with skepticism rather than take our word at face value are causing susceptible listeners to die." I hold that to be way too dictatorial, the same way as I would someone who would tell me not to take the vaccine at all. Put the info out there in whatever form you want, I'll read and research, then decide on my own. This Hotez is adamant that anyone who says differently than he (mentioned specifically are Joe Rogan and RFK Jr.) are effectively killing people. That's iron-fisted. I personally could never trust someone like that.
