I'll watch it.  Should be a good debate.  They're both intelligent men even though they have different ideas of how to acheive what they want and completely different ideas of what they want.

The DUmmies are all predictable in their replies, but one stood out that I would like to comment on and wish it could be posted on DU.

The California governor had taunted his Florida counterpart for months. Now, with his presidential campaign struggling, Mr. DeSantis agreed to a debate hosted by Sean Hannity.

Since last September, Gavin Newsom, the ambitious, proudly liberal governor of California, has been tauntingly challenging Ron DeSantis, the ambitious, proudly conservative governor of Florida, to a debate. He would even agree, he said, to let the right-wing Fox News host Sean Hannity moderate.

On Wednesday, Mr. DeSantis accepted.

“You heard Gavin make the offer,” Mr. Hannity said on his show. “Your answer is?”

“Absolutely,” a smiling Mr. DeSantis replied. “I’m game. Let’s get it done. Just tell me when and where.”

In a letter last week, Mr. Newsom had outlined his proposed terms: a date of Nov. 8 or 10; a location in Georgia, Nevada or North Carolina; and a focus “on the impact of representation at the state level.”

10. Will Desantis still be in the race by Nov?

Here's a better question for you DUmmie;  Will NEWSOM be in the race by November?  That's what I want to know.

Noisome is a do-nothing empty suit. His one leader-like action since becoming Mayor of SF (= before becoming goobernor) was arm-twisting that crazy legislative committee into passing the bill making sex-trafficking a serious felony on to the full Assembly. DeSantis should have to tie 2/3 of his brain behind his back just to make it fair.

They know this will basically be a debate between two states, right? Not hard to figure out which state is doing exponentially better. We don't have homeless drug addicts all over our cities and damn sure don't have a shit map.

Newsom will try to blow smoke up Desantis’s ass by quoting a bunch of fake statistics he pulled out of his ass. But he won’t say a word about the homeless or drug problems.

DeSantis is at 15.1 and falling on the RCP average now. The more he campaigns the more his numbers drop. He won't matter by the time this debate occurs.

I suspect DeSantis' dropping in polls is more related to Dems' Hate-Trump lawfare than to DeSantis' campaigning. Brandon's and the Dems' lawfare onslaught is not playing well outside of DU-grade Progs' cricles.
