Ray Epps says he'll be charged for Jan. 6, further dampening Fox News conspiracy theory

Ray Epps was not a FBI agent

https://www.msnbc.com/deadline-white-house/deadline-legal-blog/ray-epps-jan-6-charges-fox-news-tucker-carlson-rcna94079

The Ray Epps conspiracy theory — that he was an undercover FBI agent who ginned up the Jan. 6 Capitol attack — was fueled in part by the fact that he was at the Capitol that day but was never charged. However, according to Epps’ newly filed defamation lawsuit against Fox News, charges are coming.

That would obviously be an unwelcome development for Epps, but also for the dubious theory pushed by ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson that prompted Epps’ suit. The plaintiff, a Donald Trump supporter from Arizona, claims in his filing that the Department of Justice told him in May that it planned to seek criminal charges against him, two and a half years after the Capitol attack.

In what would be quite a twist if true, Epps claims he's facing charges because of Fox News and Carlson, whom the network fired in April, days after it reached a nearly $800 million settlement in Dominion Voting Systems' defamation lawsuit.....

At the same time, Epps seems to say he can win based on what’s already obvious. Among other things, his complaint states:

Fox advanced an inherently improbable story — so inherently improbable that only a reckless broadcaster would advance it — namely that FBI agents or other federal law enforcement authorities working under the administration of Donald Trump would employ Epps as a provocateur to advance a federal government agenda to engage in an insurrection and commit violence at the Capitol.

Well, when you put it that way.

Sorry, DUmmies, but, given the videos of Epps inciting both the night before and the day of, Epps should've been the FIRST J6er charged, not the last.

And how many days did he spend locked up like many other J6ers?

I see Gothmog, the clerk-typist, is still trying to sound intelligent.

Someone with an active account should ask her how those criminal arrest warrants are going for George W Bush and Dick Cheney?

He hasn't been arrested yet.  Just says he's "going to be."  That was several months ago, I believe.

Ray Epps says he'll be charged for Jan. 6, further dampening Fox News conspiracy theory

Ray Epps was not a FBI agent...

The only Feds that glow more radiantly than Ray Epps are those "Patriot Front" clowns.

Let me make a prediction about how I think Agent Epps' "trial" will go down - because I've seen it many, many times when the jack booted thugs of the corrupt, leftist-run #GovernmentExtortionRacket get busted for getting too 'handsey', shooting a perp in the back without a drop gun handy, or otherwise generally abusing their authority, because they know the Thin Blue LineTM will run interference for them.

They've already tried minimizing Epps' actions, hoping that the proles would give up and go away, but that's sooo not happening. So trotting out the usual PIO line of "we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing" will just make the situation worse from the FBI's perspective. So the DOJ is going to take the Epps' case the other way instead: they can't slap his wrist with a misdemeanor or policy violation, so some assistant DA for the District of Columbia is going to step up and take one for the team by overcharging the ever-loving hell out of Agent Epps. A list of charges that carry penalties amounting to the rest of Agent Epps' natural life in a Federal 'Pound You In The Ass Prison. Get the rest of those proles who still believe it's a two-party regime salivating over the prospect of seeing some actual JUSTICE coming out of the Just-Us system, just this once. Even if they don't convict him on the entire laundry list of sins, Agent Ray Epps is looking down the barrel of being in his seventies or eighties before seeing a single ray of unfiltered sunlight again, right? And the pre-trial dog and pony show comes and goes, and it's not looking good for Agent Epps. And the trial starts, and the Assistant DA makes a stirring opening argument worthy of F.Lee Bailey himself. And all the prole rubes get to thinking that maybe the jig is really up for Agent Epps and the rest of the corrupt bastards at the FBI US-KGB, and they start seeing visions of dominoes falling one after another.

And Assistant DA Sparky, gets to the heart of the trial with all of the video evidence in hand ...And Ray Epps' attorney eats him for lunch. Or so it appears. In reality the plan from the moment charges against Agent Epps were announced was to phone in the prosecution from the start, do such a poor job prosecuting the case that no jury in the country would ever be able to convict Agent Epps of so much as failing to sign his report on the Jan. 6th incident. Ray Epps walks; no attorney in the country can charge him with any part of January 6th ever again (no double jeopardy), and hell, the sonuvabitch probably walks away with a fat promotion from the bureau for "having endured a public witch hunt" in the service of his country.

It's the modus operandi of the corrupt "Just-Us" system these days, and I've seen it way too often to believe it will end any other way.

People have already been arrested and prosecuted for less than what Epps did. And authorities have gone well out of their way to track such people down. Of course people are suspicious of him.
