A desperate drug addicted dictator is losing a war so he orders the use of vengeance weapons against his enemy. This sounds like something from 80 years ago but it is happening now in the Ukraine where Zelensky is demanding the use of the V-3 Cluster Bomb vengeance weapons. And weirdly, the USA will give it to him. Why? Because, according to Joe Biden, we have run out of ammo so that justifies the use of cluster bombs. Using that line of reasoning it could lead to the use of even more terrible weapons. Don't believe me, Zelensky himself now wants to use Nukes on the Russkies. WWIII anybody?

Why anyone would object to aiding Ukraine as it defends itself, drives Russian invaders out of Ukraine, and attrits the invading Russian military eludes me, but for whatever reason, some conservatives do.

Um... Because we promised the Russians that we would NOT move NATO any further east when they removed all their troops from East Germany but then went ahead and did just that. Making moves to extend NATO into Ukraine was a bridge too far.

1. Ukraine is a member of NATO? When did that happen? Or were you using "move NATO any further east" flexibly and vaguely to imply more than has actually happened?

2. Russia recognized Ukraine as an independent nation in 1991 in the accords that recognized that the Soviet Union had dissolved, but has violated Ukrainian sovereignty by: invading and occupying the Crimean Peninsula; setting up and funding/arming proxy groups in Donetsk and other Ukrainian territory; invading Ukraine in 2022. Who violated what "promise"?!!!

Why should the US honor this supposed promise "NOT (to) move NATO any further east" when Russia has invaded sovereign countries 3 times, so far, and set up and armed proxies groups in at least 3 countries I'm aware of (Georgia, Ukraine, and Moldova)?

I didn't say Ukraine is in NATO. I said moves were being made to put Ukraine in NATO sometime in the future. BTW, that future is now since Zelensky asked for Ukraine to be in NATO. Also NATO is SELF-DEFENSE so why is NATO helping a non-NATO nation with billions in military aide and covert troops?

This war could have ended in April 2022 when Ukraine and Russia came to a peace deal but Boris Johnson traveled to Ukraine to NIX the peace deal.

Sorry but I don't see risking the end of human civilization is worth getting involved in a Slavic feud which could easily be ended. Trump is right in saying he could quickly END this war.
