It gives him lots of credibility about not trying to manipulate the venue

Populace has a chance to absorb the seriousness of the information in the documents

We find out what Trump ultimately did with the documents. I'd really like to hear more about Bedminster. Would we know if a New Jersey grand jury was sitting?

Wrong destination. LIEden's lawyers are in Boston and that is where he had the boxes of documents sent (the ones from the UDelaware thinktank, IIRC).
