The funny thing is, when I clicked the link, I was expecting a rousing chorus of Que Sera Sera, which I suspect would have drawn much the same response from the DUm'Rats.

Thought it was that Doris Day classic before I clicked the link as well. Her version in the Hitchcock movie "The Man Who Knew Too Much" is an absolute gem.
