A black man found guilty of setting two Asian University of California Berkeley students on fire will face no jail time as part of a plea deal with a prosecutor who ran on an agenda of ending “mass incarceration.”

Brandon McGlone “was found guilty of lighting UC Berkeley students on fire at a boba shop near the Cal campus in 2020 has been released from custody without prison time or probation after agreeing to participate in a diversion program for veterans,” according to The Berkeley Scanner, which reviewed the court records.

But he reached a plea deal with the Alameda County District Attorney’s office, which is run by Pamela Price, who “has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from the progressive billionaire George Soros,” according to The Washington Free Beacon.

I've been wondering for some time when the "Stop Asian Hate" people will actually look at the many videos of attacks on Asian people and notice that whites are disproportionately in the minority among the attackers. Maybe the focus could turn to the sub-surface long-term hate for Asians among many blacks and the fact that many attackers are druggies and/or mental cases? You know, actually try to work on where most of the attacks are coming from?

I won't be looking like a Smurf waiting for this to happen, though I'd love to be proven wrong.

Ain't gonna happen, Pete. No need to turn blue. The plain fact is, those who perpetuate attacks on Asians or any other minority group simply because they're a member of that group, is a racist. No other way to put it. If the attacks on Asians are disproportionately coming from blacks, or the Sami in northern Finland, or Polynesians, that tells me that we have a bunch of racists screaming
