One can only hope. (??) (Nuance in MAGAT audience at Town Hall)

I muse a lot about what proportion of MAGATs are evil and what proportion are ignorant and what the spectrum looks like. If we are ever to move forward, I count on a significant proportion of ignorant rather than evil.

The Town Hall audience sounded like it was packed with the evil kind. But the questions from the audience that I read seemed solid. Then on Chris Hayes last night a Republican (who resigned from the DOJ right after Jan 6), who was there, said "the room" had a very different vibe. The laughers were less than half of the audience and many people had concerned/surprised looks on their faces.

Have any of you heard other "in the room" reports about the audience?

Sounds like the DUmors on the arse of humanity can't resist the urge to pick at their recently acquired wound to their TDS. Not surprising, given their abysmal levels of demonstrated impulse control on record, I guess.

Maybe we should "encourage" them to let it heal the same way I have to with one of my dogs: make 'em wear the Cone of ShameTM so that the scar tissue can build up?

Reality most easily eludes those who refuse to recognize it. DU-folk are masters of this refusal.

You have to be some kind of super stupid to think that cnn would pack their town hall to showcase their new commie "news" Karen with conservatives.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Apparently that CNN extravaganza garnered huge ratings, then they reverted to their normal test-pattern level the rest of the week. Have been a touch curious if more libs tuned in to see it than the die-hard Trump supporters.

Obviously they were all closet Biden voters.

It's not the closet ones that bug me. It's the casket/urn voters that get me.

I "muse" about how DUmmies like yourself blindly buy into anything Biden. Wake up!! Go outside and just look around. Joe has literally screwed up everything he's touched, other than enriching his family. He should have stuck to driving 18 wheelers.
