Today's my birthday and my mom's
I bet it is quite rare to share the same birthday. My mom got quite a gift! It is not a good birthday today. No gifts and I think we made a mistake selling the house for less than the buyout figure from the mortgage company. At least we changed banks for a fresh start there.

I hope it is the start of something better. I’ll see if the mortgage company will accept less. Really want to move and we have no water heater.

Just talked to the house buying company. They are understanding. They said they will try to work it out, but if not, they can cancel the sale. I think they act better than my real estate agent friend. So I can enjoy our birthday more now.

the funny part is him thinking anyone believes he's been living for the past month with no hot water at all.
the sale is gonna fall through because the buyer insists the water heater gets fixed first, and our boy Matt will fire up a gofund for 5 grand, which will be his LAT ONE EVER, for real this time

He sold the house to the low bidder?  And now he's going to try to negotiate a lower buyout figure from the mortgage company?  Does that make any sense to anybody?  I think his next tale of woe will be how they still owe loads of money to the mortgage company because they (according to him) defaulted on their mortgage two or three years ago and have been squatting ever since.  And they supposedly have been paying a lawyer the whole time to straighten out their financial problems.  I wonder if any of the DUmmies will ask him what equity they have in the house and what the appraised value is.  I'm sure his response to any questions about whether he got fair market value will be some further variation about how he's too stupid to handle money.  His next begfest will be about how his poor, now homeless, Mother is living in a gutter.  She certainly got "quite a gift" when he drew his first breath.
