Harassed / bullied for the second time at Costco: a harbinger of a worse fascist life here

Last edited Thu Apr 27, 2023, 11:28 PM - Edit history (1)

Both men, but this time a woman was semi involved.

It makes me just not want to go out anymore. That is what this country is coming to.

Both happened after dump was installed.

The second was yesterday.

In addition I have returned 3 bags of wallnuts for having moldy walnuts. They said they were going to make a report about it. I just looked up online and found out that they had a recall of three lots starting in November 22, shouldn’t they know about that?

I love shopping there when it’s not crowded and it saves a lot, but it is becoming more unpleasant.
You have to go to the comments to find out how this poor little snowflake was bullied by anti-semitic Trump-loving fascists.

4. This time

Last edited Fri Apr 28, 2023, 07:07 AM - Edit history (2)

I was going down an aisle which had a lot of wooden things they put food in to take out and put on the shelves in front of the items for sale. First there was a woman, and I was trying to get out of her way as we were going into the aisle, and said I’m sorry, and tried to stay out of her way. Then as I made my way down the aisle she weaved in and out in front of me. At least 4 times which is rude.

I should make it clear here that I didn’t do anything wrong or get in her way, she was moving very quickly as I was entering the aisle, and I have a tendency to try to get out of people's way etc.

As we got towards the middle or end of the aisle, I heard a man behind her complaining about how people leave their shopping carts in the aisle etc., she said she never does. It didn’t occur to me until later that he was trying to imply that I was doing something terrible by simply being there, and looking at items etc.

As we got to the end of the aisle there was a big traffic jam. I was trying to look at an item that I usually buy to see if it was on sale… there were several people in the aisle opposite, and a man wheeling one of those humongous cleanup carts…also a woman on a motorized chair cart, and there’s nowhere to go so, I moved over to the right in front of the things I wanted to look at, and then the man behind me starts telling me what are you doing, nobody was moving, they were just all standing there.

So I said why don’t you just go past me, it’s obvious what I’m doing, I’m trying to get out of everybody’s way. I can’t remember exactly what he said but it was something to the effect of like you caused the problem here, because blah blah blah, and I said to him I didn’t cause the problem, you did because you’re rude, and why don’t you calm down.

At that point he went past me, and I moved forward, the woman was nowhere to be seen, and I couldn’t see him anymore.

When something like that happens to me I usually turn my cart around and I go back down the aisle instead of trying to go towards or into a big traffic jam but I couldn’t do that because they were right behind me. I’m also recovering from a spinal fracture, and it’s hard for me to move around the same way I normally do.

Anyway the whole thing was very upsetting, and I told the management what happened but they didn’t seem to care because it was a customer doing that.

The other time it happened I was waiting at the glasses counter, and the man helping everybody didn’t see me, and went to help someone else after the person in front of me…and I said I was here before that person.

Well he, the person immediately started a verbal assault on me saying I was a liar etc. I don’t even remember now what he said but he was much more abusive. I told him off too, and then I went and told the management that I felt threatened by him. They paid more attention but did nothing.

This time I had some Hebrew National hotdogs in my cart so I can assume a few things about this man, one he’s a fascist, two he’s prolly a dumper, and three he is an antisemite most likely.

I should have told him who made you the arbiter of who is supposed to go first in a traffic jam while you’re shopping.

* In addition… I told the Costco cs they created the environment for this to happen because they’re stacking up lots of items to unload in front of items people are trying to look at/ buy during the rush-hour. They shouldn’t be doing that
Apparently, there were never rude customers or crappy customer service before Trump, right?  :whatever:

32. I go there when I can

I'm nocturnal and usually go before they close so there are not many people there. Sometimes I have to go on the weekend but also later usually. When I have been there in the morning it is not that bad usually unless it is a holiday.

I did not say it was a Costco issue specifically but it happened there. I was harassed twice by bully men there. And Costco created an unsafe situation for people shopping there even without it turning into a situation for fascist fodder there to harass people in that situation.

The walnut situation and moldy food is a Costo issue however, they are the ones selling moldy food, and they aren't being good about returns. I am very busy now but I will try to call the corporate cs and see what is going on with the moldy food and recalls etc. Clearly it is a Costco problem because it started in November and in April/May they are still selling moldy walnuts and giving people a hard time to return them. The reason this store may be worse is because this area has many fascist types, and some work in and run these places, it is not just the people shopping there.

When I return food items at most other places they never start questioning me, they say sorry etc. and refund me.
Something I have never liked about Costco is the way they harass you at the door to show your member id. That also creates a traffic jam at the door which makes it unsafe and aggravating. Even if you go in there, you cant purchase anything without your card/id. At Bjs they never ask for an id anymore, I think they used to. The way they treated my father was bad and I am sure the customer who did that will do it again. If someone can't handle one of those carts properly they should not be allowed in the store with one. Another thing that leads to that type of situation is checking everyone's receipt before they leave, it creates anxiety and a traffic jam when you are leaving.

That's good they did all of that to help you figure that out.
Who returns food??? Especially after eating half of it? S/he/it doesn't throw that part in until further down the thread.

Don't know why this guy puts up with all the DUmp drama.

The leftist bastion of COSTCO is now MAGA country?  Did the DUmmy go there at 2:00AM on a freezing night to get one of their hot dogs. Did this happen in the rope-noose department? Is this Juicy Swallowsit?

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Is Meowmee speaking of pallets? Or claiming that OSHA-compliant carts are used?

Meowmee is saying that the Costco worker going here and there in the aisle is some sort of harassment, not the worker doing her job? Obviously Meowmee should have demanded to speak to the worker's manager!

Costco was busy? I'm shocked ...! IRL, Meowmee probably accidentally cut off another shopper, who was frazzled. Welcome to Costco reality.

The store is crowded. What did Meowmee? For the manager to call Security and dial 9-1-1, and then check video so the shoppers crowding the area could be arrested? Yeah, no. Welcome to Costco reality.

Translation: managers checked video for the vision area and found Meowmee-Karen lied. It's what Karens do.

Is this in reference to a manager who "didn’t seem to care"? Or to the rando customer who (supposedly) yelled at Meowmee? The :bouncy: is really poorly composed (as well as mostly or entirely fictional). :mental: How :mental: Meowmee :mental: got from having a package of one of the best-tasting hotdogs in the US among the many items in her cart to the object of her paranoid rage being a "fascist", "dumper" (anybody here know what this epithet means?), and "antisemite" eludes me. :mental:

Shelves get emptied during "rush-hour". Customers want their stuff, not empty shelf space. Ergo Costco employees restock shelves when needed. Welcome to Costco reality.

What a bleeping Karen! Did any DU-folk call out her Karenish entitlement, paranoia, and embellishment-fiction?

Sympthsical frequently says something sensible, but unless this was thickly veiled satire ...

I go to Costco on the order of once a month. It's not neighborhood-close, and I don't love crowds. When I do, whites are somewhere between a slight majority and slightly fewer than the East-Asians plurality, and unlike any flavor of white supremacist/racist, I'm entirely comfortable with that (as comfortable as I could be in any busy store). That's part of Costco reality in my corner of Silicon Valley.

If you can **** up a simple shopping trip for yourself and other shoppers, you probably have an active DU account

...

IF that happened, the walnuts were probably organic. "Official" organic regs/methods restrict what kind of fungicides are permissible, and thus organic produce may go moldy quicker than non-organic. Ergo, IF this happened and if DU-Karen bought the walnuts in Costco quantity, DU-Karen probably ate the walnuts over too much time.

Eating half or all of ______ and then demanding a refund because the ______ was  ______ is a standard freeloader-Karen trick.

We're lucky and have several "near" us. The one closest to us is an utter zoo on weekends, which is when I can shop there (or was (mumble mumble) years ago when I was last there), so I drive a bit farther to one that is less crazy. The shoppers have the same % of clueless wanderers, but there are a bit fewer shoppers.

I was in Costco just over a week ago. Place was packed and made shopping a pain. But, we did it! I did my best to smile at folks, let the "little old ladies" in the line of carts and just tried to be pleasant.

Meowmee sounds like the type of person I would put items in their cart when they weren't looking.

All of that typing just to rant about shopping cart etiquette and moldy nuts(snicker) at Costco?

Jeebus. I agree that the DUmmie's meds aren't working very well.

Being a normal person, I would've forgotten about that before I even made it back to my car - and I wouldn't have gotten all bent out of shape in the first place.

If the story was about a DUmp fly doing the exact same things to MAGA-hatted, open-carrying, obvious rethugican, the celebrations would be endless.  Because some people were (supposedly) rude, and in one case, the DUmp fly happened to have some kosher food, it's clearly proof of fascists targeting Costco.

How do these people remember to breathe every 10 seconds or so?

Also, no mention of the melanin content of the offenders skin.  Which usually means they weren't white, but the moonbat doesn't want to be called a racist, so they leave that part out.
