There is even more going on here -- the personal attacks on Sarah Palin and her family are not only tainting the anointed one's ointment, it is starting to foul the waters in other local elections as right thinking people ask, GENERICALLY, "why would I vote for such hateful and petty people?" of the democratic party.

The more they dig, the deeper the hole gets.

Well hot damn, you've figured it all out!  Yes, we're all racists.  It has nothing to do with our respect for McCain as a vet or Palin as a conservative and a mother.  It's just race.  My family has harbored irrational prejudices against wealthy liberal presidential canidates for years, and it doesn't look like the cycle will be broken anytime soon.

If Bubba was good at one thing it was that he was able to triangulate and take votes from the middle!

They are already setting the stage for a "2008" was stolen.  And I think we will see tendrils of a "Sarah stole 2012" preemption pretty soon.
