Police in Fresno County, California have arrested a man they believe broke into the home of two farm workers and carried at a bizarre food-based attack.

Antonio Vasquez is accused of rubbing one of the victims with spices and hitting the other with a sausage before fleeing the scene.

The 22-year-old suspect was discovered by police hiding in a nearby field wearing only a T-shirt, socks and underwear.

According to the website SFGate.com, the victims explained they woke up in the morning to find their assailant applying spices to one of them and hitting the other with an 8-inch sausage.

Wonder why he didn't realize he'd need to chorizo so he wouldn't get caught?

What was this guy smoking?  He is clearly not  grounded.

The victim was andouille assaulted.  He can only hope this criminal will be bacon in a hot jail soon.

Given the liberal justice system of today, I can only say: In a pig's eye.

Baloney.  Once he gets to court, and comes in front of the Head Cheese, he'll be headed someplace where the salami is after him
