Bombshell revelations claiming former President Donald Trump was showing classified documents to donors at his Mar-a-Lago home could be what brings him down, former FBI agent and Donald Trump foe Peter Strzok said Monday.

Speaking to MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace, he cited a Sunday Washington Post article that claimed the Justice Department had obtained new evidence that proves obstructions of justice in the classified case.

Before that report, Trump could reasonably claim that he knew nothing about the documents, the report said. He could say his staff had packed them into boxes when he moved from the White House, without Trump's knowledge.

But if he was showing them off to visitors, that argument would be killed.

Peter Strzok got canned from the FBI in 2018, over 4 years before the FBI raid. Do DU-onlurkers need the definition of anachronism?

Or it could be what it is: heresay, unless you've got the Trump donor testifying that he/she was shown classified documents.



Even then, timing matters. Y'all keep forgetting, the President has the authority to classify and declassify documents on a whim. If, as President - which is the only set of circumstances in which I can imagine Trump being in possession of classified docs to show to anyone - he decided to show "a donor" something absolutely covered in little red "CLASSIFIED" stamps, it's still de-classified and it was HIS AUTHORITY to do so that's all that was necessary to make it legal.

Y'all are grasping at straws, DUm'Rat, and it only highlights your desperation.  :popcorn:

The Justice Dept. leaked info to The Washington Post, in turn to a former disgraced FBI agent, who then told a reporter. Uh Huh.
