It seems inevitable that it will go that route. Is he trying to keep the feds out of the picture because they'll investigate and figure out that the problem is much bigger?

Makes you wonder why President Joe Biden did not visit East Palestine.

They tried to convince him to, but Joe argued he didn't want to stir things up with Israel right now.  No amount of pudding could change his mind.
