These pieces of Republican jargon are mostly used as attack words. They are usually said with a sneer and aimed at something/anything the right wing crazies are against.

I doubt that the majority of people know what the hell Republicans are talking about when they use these terms, but they get the indication that they mean something bad, something "unpatriotic," something "UnAmerican." This is the way propaganda works. Repeat, repeat, and repeat, until far too many people believe some version of the snake oil being sold.

We've all been told "The truth will set you free." Seems to me that truth doesn't stand a chance against the vast Republican propaganda machine that spreads shit across America 24/7.

Until the vast majority of Americans understand that Republicans are "Domestic Enemies," our freedoms, our constitution and our country will be teetering on the brink of totalitarianism.

I'll give Cyrano a half-point for consistency.  I remember in 2008, we were on Armageddon Online and he was ranting against a left-winger who began using the word 'woke' to define readers of sites like Raw Story and Cracked, etc.

Woke means "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination". I know what the word means. It's the definition that leftists assign to that word where I take issue. You dolts don't know how to define things properly. Case in point; "... they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." The term has adjusted its original meaning over time, as it is almost exclusively used by uptight effete white liberals. When the term "woke" first started appearing online and in print 7 or 8 years ago, I looked up its origins. I'm the inquisitive sort and prefer to know what words are supposed to mean. Woke originally meant that Blacks needed to "stay woke" to be down for racial justice. Naturally white leftists co-opted the term to fit their ideology.

And some semi-famous leftist really stepped in it recently for saying that "woke is a racist slur" used by the right:

The ex-CNN anchor told reporters woke is 'a synonym for the n-word'

Journalist Soledad O’Brien alerted reporters on Monday that the term "woke" has now become akin to a "racist slur" or "the n-word."

O’Brien tweeted in response, "So reporters.. for many people ‘woke’ means Black people. Or more likely--a racist slur. So maybe do a better job in interviews when people talk about 'wokeness' mmkay?"

She double downed by saying, "Yeah I've discovered that some people use it as a synonym for the n-word," in response to a Twitter user who wrote, "I never understood what woke means."
