All the headlines are saying this midterm was a repudiation of Trump and Trumpism. Do we dare believe America has awoken from its conservative fever dream?

All the headlines are saying that because the sources of those headlines want that to be true.

Can make people forget their lived experience under Trump, the low energy costs, the booming economy, the absence of inflation, what it was like living in a country led by a President that kept his promises and actually put America and Americans first.

Not going to happen, no matter how much words, money or propaganda they try to bounce off of it.

     It appears that a lot of Americans want or need to experience more misery before they come around, and even then, they may not: young people turned out to vote for lunatics in greater numbers. Given that young people are stupider, more self-absorbed, and more performative than ever, it MAY not change soon.

     I believe this is partly why the Dems want to keep Americans single and infantile for longer: acquiring property and responsibility is an excellent way to get people to vote for the betterment of society, rather than for the right to smoke dope and **** without consequences. I have long said that if the border HAS to be open, at least we should let families in who still come from family-centered cultures. Single men crossing the border - well, I won't type what I want to happen to them.

True, some Americans - the DUmb ones - need to experience much more misery.

I think it needs to go farther.

If they're against free speech, silence them.

If they're against small government, give them big government up their asses.

When they propose something, or propose something be not allowed, make them sit and eat their own slop with extra helpings.


I am SICK of these morons making decisions which they can't possibly fathom the ramifications of,  for their betters who understand completely.

The much-anticipated “red wave” in Tuesday’s midterms ended up barely a red trickle, with the GOP set to win a narrow House majority and control of the Senate likely coming down to a runoff in Georgia. The White House is reportedly “giddy” and “gleeful” to have avoided electoral disaster despite high inflation, widespread concern about crime and the natural tendency for midterm elections to favor the party out of power.

Republicans are not so giddy, to say the least. When analyzing what went wrong, the GOP shouldn’t overlook how President Joe Biden blatantly bribed some young voters to save him from the red wave — and they don’t even need the cash.

That’s right: The kids actually did show up to vote this time around. Per the Edison Research National Election Pool’s exit polling, 27% of eligible voters aged 18 to 29 cast ballots. That makes this the second-highest youth turnout in a midterm in nearly 30 years. And Edison estimates that in key competitive states, the youth turnout was even higher, around 31%.
