Must admit, I haven't known you very long , ... hell, I was in CU for years previously (and still miss it!) 
However, please do not stop voting altogether. !!! ... I 100% agree as to while you possibly could think that way ...
But, please don't give up the fight against socialism ... which we all know, to one step at a time, leads to one rule government/communism!

I'm just very frustrated. One of our three ballot proposals amends the Michigan Constitution to create early voting and
right to sign an affidavit as an alternative to showing photo ID to vote. Requires state-funded return postage and drop boxes for absentee ballots. Clarifies that the state canvassers board has a nondiscretionary duty to certify results. It passed by 60%! What it means is that my vote will never matter again.
Whitmer was one of the most fascistic governors in the country with our severe lockdowns. She killed nearly as many nursing home residents as Cuomo. Her husband expected special exceptions based on who had was married to. As businesses closed permanently, and people lost their jobs and livelihoods, she tried to relate by telling us that her family was affected too, you know, because her daughter missed her prom and graduation.
Our attorney general is a lush who had to be removed from a football game in a wheelchair because she was falling down drunk. And yet, they were both re-elected. I couldn't believe it. There isn't anything so outrageous that they could have done to cause them to lose.
They have sealed the deal. From here on out, we are going to be a one-party state. Like California, Illinois, and way too many others.
I probably won't sit out any future elections--I'm a little too OCD to do that. But, I just can't imagine that it will matter. :-(
