DOJ won't act, so CREW has.

Plans Are Being Made To Get Trump Disqualified In 2024 If He Runs

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) has announced that they will pursue getting Trump disqualified from the ballot if he runs in 2024.

According to CREW:

Should Donald Trump seek reelection to the presidency or any other office, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington will pursue his disqualification under the Fourteenth Amendment for engaging in the January 6th insurrection.

“The evidence that Trump engaged in insurrection is overwhelming,” Bookbinder said. “We are ready, willing, and able to take action to make sure the Constitution is upheld and Trump is prevented from holding office.”

It is too soon to predict whether an effort to get Trump disqualified from the ballot would succeed, but CREW’s challenge will be boosted by something other l4th Amendment candidate challenges have not had.

The 1/6 Committee report will likely make a powerful case that Donald Trump masterminded and led a coup attempt to overthrow the government. - PoliticusUSA

2. Let's think about this a minute....

Which rethug candidate would President Biden be able to thoroughly trounce in 2024?

TFG.

Even without the goldmine of criminality, just compare the record of accomplishments while in office.

Of course, by then, trump could very well be in prison, or most certainly fighting his indictment in court. Also, as someone on DU pointed out the other day, if trump and his minions insist he won in 2020, he wouldn't be able to run again because he's already been elected twice.

14. Lock. The. Slob. Up!

Keep him behind bars, pending trials. There is no doubt he is a danger to society, as well as a flight risk.

And, do the same with all the known ruskie assets in Congress!

19. I keep wondering that, too!

WHY are all these assholes walking around free? When they’re facing charges? When they’re refusing to cooperate? Why is there no crackdown to underscore how we mean business and the law must not be flouted???

If it happened to Susan McDougal, why can’t it happen to some of these trumpers?

7. The DOJ can't act because of the secret law that says no rulings 60 days before an election

I say It has to be a secret law because how could a memo literally stop.... THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE !!!

17. Twitter almost gave me a heart attack yesterday...

...and I almost broke out the champagne.

Good thing I didn't.

But anyway. The #TrumpIsDead hash tag was trending. And I thought it was real for a second. Then it wasn't.

Dammit.

How exactly with CREW take away Trump's right, as a native-born citizen, to run for President without due process of law?

I can claim that Biden is ineligible to run for President because he's a brown Uranian, and maybe persuade loads of people to agree with me, but my claim and people's belief cannot bypass the 5th and 14th Amendments' Due Process clause.

This is an effort to disenfranchise tens of millions voters. Namely, every voter who wants Trump as POTUS again.

And yet, NONE of you SooperGeenyuses could come up with enough to convince a SYMPTHETIC CONGRESS in your ham-fisted show-trial impeachment, could you?

I'm sure The Donald is just quaking in his loafers about now...  :whatever:

It seems as if "CREW" is just as biased as Judicial Watch is for conservatives. Fortunately for our side, Judicial Watch has been really effective and this leftist outfit is tilting at windmills.

Which January 6th participant has been charged and convicted of insurrection, DUmbasses. I'll make it easier, which one has been charged with insurrection? Not, from the MSM, "in the insurrection" which are their words, LEGALLY charged with insurrection.

You idiots keep getting your panties in a wad over a word that the leftist MSM throws out there like candy to their low IQ, mouth-breathing base and you eat it up. They knew you would.  :lmao:

BTW, I'll wait on that one person charged LEGALLY with insurrection. If it was an actual insurrection, they would have been charged with INSURRECTION.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Right after the 2022 Blue Wave?
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
