Here is a question I have long pondered:
Say for the sake of argument we lose the House and the 1/6 Committee is no longer in existence or whatever the mechanism might be for renewal or reconstitution. What is to prevent the Senate, still hopefully in Democratic hands, from creating a Select Committee a la Watergate? You KNOW that if the situation were reversed, there’d already have been ten Senate committees looking into this.

As usual: Enquiring minds want to know!!

Ladies and Gentlemen: DUers <——Self-proclaimed smartest people that have ever lived.

Senate already tried that nonsense after Cap’n Dementia was sworn in. It was shot down.

It's the democratic party way; do-over until the democrats get their way.

That would not preclude Shamvestigation 3.0. Constitutional protections against double jeopardy don't forbid multiple Partisan PR Stunts at taxpayer expense regarding the same event.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Who's gonna call for it? Schumer? Some of his members are fighting for their political lives right now and the Senate doesn't roll like the House. The house is like a popularity contest among districts. Senators are elected by an entire state.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

After all, what else do that have to do but spend taxpayer money on  :bs: ? They have no other purpose.

OK, yeah, the Murder Turtle's purpose in life is to count the money his wife gets from the Chinese shipping scam she has going.

Bring it. Nobody (except for DUmmies and Liz Cheney) will give a rat's ass about it.
