So I really debated about this. Add to the previous, and glorious thread? Or create a new thread, as this is a new chapter in the MVD parable?
If mods feel this should move, please do so. But lets get on with the latest episode of "woah is me" with Matt/MVD.

Well my disability claim was denied
For my SSDI claim, they said I did not provide enough evidence that I was legally disabled before age 22.
For my SSI claim, they focused on my hearing and said while my condition is severe, it is not severe enough to prevent some work.
I disagree strongly on both points. I want to appeal. Should I get a disability attorney right away? Can they be low cost or free? I am supposed to appeal within 60 days.
Very disappointing but not surprising. I know many people have to apply many times before it being granted.
Poor Matt. Skunked again by life.

10. So sorry. That shows how callous they are
My ear doctor said my results were like being legally deaf, but no, not severe enough for them.
"Like being legally deaf.."

Lurking Muppets. This is DR. code words for, "youre crazy". Or quite possibly, "im not putting my medical degree on the line for your brand of stupidity".

9. I have one Dem Senator - will be 2 when Fetterman is elected
So that route could be tried. Thanks
So whats the plan when Oz is elected?

14. I have found it best to
get the best attorney you can afford. In my case it saved me way more than what I spent on a great attorney.
Well, we have seen in the past that Matt paid his Uber Driver with an old Vacuum. Not sure how much money he has. Maybe he needs to start a fundraiser.

20. Yep, first denial
The full medical records were not released and they all should be when I appeal. Thanks all - I knew DUers would know what to do.
So much to unpack in that sentence. Get denied for disability? Ask the experts at the DUmp.
