Sadly, trg hasn't been around for a couple of years.

* The supposed newness of the staffer is irrelevant and superfluous.

* As several pointed out, what rifle owner would refer to it as an "assault rifle"?

* Why would an owner of an AR-15 type rifle bother to specify that particular model?

Interesting. I lost track of TRG when I dumped Fakebook.

He's a legend in his own mind. It'll be nice to see him bounced out of his committee assignment(s) in January, assuming he's reelected.

This is what I thought when I heard of the supposed incident. It's very "on the nose", like Smellwell is playing into the democrats' visceral hatred of the AR.
