Student loans - this is what a progressive society looks like!

And I think some need a wake up call.
This is how far behind we, the United States, are compared to the rest of the modern world.
And many of the talking points against student loans are rooted in conservative arguments & ideas.
Ask yourself this - by NOT forgiving student loans, how is that benefitting anyone but big banks?
"I suffered so you must suffer too!" is the antithesis of Progressive & Liberal ideology.

There's 30 of us in Antivax Hunters.
We tallied up what we all owe in student loan debt......are you ready?
$5.2M in student loan debt.
And people wonder why there's such a massive shortage of healthcare workers in this country?
I mean ****ing duh! lol

Sweden, come on down!
Let's embarrass the United States by showing it's people how good things COULD be!

<<<Then there is a screen shot of some stupid stuff from Sweden that I'm not going to bring over>>>

Oh, and before i forget....
Sweden has gone beyond college student loans.
They even pay HIGH SCHOOL students to attend class.
Yes you read that correctly.

<<<Another screen shot>>>

Folks, we have a shit load of work to do.....

Uhm, this is the dude/ette, who claimed to have $165k in student loan debt in another thread and can't pay it back because it claims to be disabled.  And that bolded part above is bullshit.  This waste of skin isn't going to do ANY work.

So, if you break down the $5.2MM claim above by 30 (it's math and we all know DUmmies aren't good at mathing) that comes out to an average student loan debt of $173,333.00 each.  What the hell were they learning in school?  How to bilk the system?

No one twisted your arm to take out those loans.  Pay them back.  And AntivaxHunter ... you do realize there is no 'forgiveness' of these loans, right?  The bank is still going to be paid.  It's just that instead of YOU paying the bank, I will have to pay the bank, and I've never gone to college.

**** off you dumb ass.  If you can't even figure out that the banks are still getting paid your college education was worth NOTHING.

All I see, is a DUmmy who made a financial committment, a choice which it now wants to put the burden of on someone elses shoulders...and is rationalizing it by pointing at sweden.

Yeah, I can see why skill-free leeches would find appealing their tickets to the elite being paid by productive people.

30 "Antivax Hunters" (what mutually-preening virtue-signalers! :rotf: ).

$5.2 million student loan debt.

>$170K apiece (average).

Off-topic questions ... are these "Antivax Hunters" real, e.g. opposing arch-antivaxxer RFK Jr.? Or are they partisan virtue-signaler phonies who imagine that only Rs/conservative are anti-Covid-vaxxers or Covid-vax-skeptics?

Isn't the government one giving out the student loans? If so, that is a debt owed to the taxpayer.

Comparing the US and any other country is consistently apples to oranges.  Sweden's size and population are a fraction of the United States.  We have cities that have almost as many people in them as the whole country of Sweden, and a country that is about 8x bigger.  Add into that the massive cultural, economic, and governmental differences, and what "works" in ANY other country in the world is unlikely to "work" here.  But the moonbats can't wrap their hive minds around that, just like they can't wrap those hive minds around the reality that money has to come from somewhere, especially "free government" money.

Either yesterday, or the day before, one of the Muppets made a comment on the topic. Cant recall which moron it was, and does it really matter? Anyways, as usual, they were blaming the entire Student Loan "Situation" on greedy Rethuglicans. Never minding the great Black Jesus and his admin's meddling in such affairs.  :whatever:

It sounds like a DU or facebook group, given the context.

I hate being a recipient of this. This isn't some sort of humble brag either. I had gone through trucking school for 6k. The company sponsoring it was supposed to pay for it. I took a deal that was a huge mistake and was on the hook for the whole thing. Later, my wife went to nursing school and was doing it with scholarships (smarter than her husband) and rolled the 6k into a student loan. Fast forward to today and poof, it's gone. Not a huge amount but feel really terrible about this.

Oh, We're already embarrassed. And we know how good things could be, too. Some of us are old enough to remember cash and carry firearms. Some of us are even old enough to remember mail order automatic and high caliber weapons. And we're old enough to remember when colleges taught how to think instead of what to think. But MOST of us are derfinitely old enough to remember 1.50 a gallon gasoline, low taxes, decreased government regulation which led to a better economy, peace in the middle east and around the world.

It is precisely BECAUSE we're embarassed, that you and those like you and those who represent you and those like you, need to be relegated to the dust bin of history on top of the stack of historically bad ideas.

Just as important: The USA is one of the few countries where most people can go to colkege no matter what.  In Europe and most other places a SMALL % of the population gets to go to college.  Most DUmmies would not qualify.

So a progressive society looks like a society of deadbeats who commit to financial debts only to have the actual working class pay the debts off? Interesting

Yeah, and ask older US homeschoolers who fought to have their students admitted to colleges (in the 1980s and 1990s) and military academies and Christian ("Fundamentalist") private schools about admissions shenanigans how college admissions could be used to force government-school-only and enable bigotry against selected POVs.

Average Lifetime Earnings Of A Gender Studies Grad Rise To $10,000

U.S. — A surprising new study found that the average lifetime earnings of graduates who have earned a gender studies degree rose sharply to $10,000 this week.

The previous average was $10,000 less than the new average, which is $10,000, making the old average $0, which is significantly lower than the current average. The sharp increase in average lifetime earnings of gender studies graduates has confounded experts, who say that while they expected gender studies graduates to make approximately $10,000 less than $10,000 over the course of their careers, they are now making $10,000 more than the expected number, which was $0.

"This is remarkable," said Dr. Lee Franken of Harvard. "All those gender studies students I taught -- I never thought I'd see the day when they'd make $10,000 over the average of $0. $10,000 is more than $0. So basically that's good."

Some college graduates with gender studies degrees are actually hitting up to $20,000 if they received Pell grants, doubling the most common average of $10,000, and being more than $20,000 over the previous average of $0.

Math graduates were not available for consultation on this article at publishing time.

I think baristas and fryolator operators make more than $10K per year, but maybe coffee shop and fast food restaurant managers know that hiring a person with a degree in Victim Studies will swiftly bring trouble.

Dont feel bad. You didnt ask for it.

Something similar happened to me. Not exactly the same, but yep, poof. The Tech School I went to went out of business. Mostly because they lied to the Fed. Gov. There was a lawsuit. That was that.

My remaining debt went poof. I didnt ask for it either. It just happened.  :p

Guess its kind of like survivor guilt somehow? I could've paid it off with a sign on bonus but that went to an ac system for the house( one never existed). I'd be far happier with your circumstances because you haven't put your burden on the rest of society. I and my wife facilitated several dave Ramsey courses too.
