No matter how often they regurgitate their latest talking point that investigating a former "pResident" is unprecedented, it doesn't change the fact that Trump's crimes while holding that office are unprecedented as well.
Which crimes? Be specific. Then compare, let's say Hunter's emails, Hillary's unsecured server, Pelosi's insider trading ect.
No matter how hard Republicans try to sell the idea that Trump is being persecuted for political reasons, it doesn't alter the fact that he incited an armed mob to attack the Capitol and overthrow our democracy.
A small percentage of the thousands of peaceably assembled protesters trespassed, vandalized, and stole some property from the Capitol building. A handful of those have been hit with gun charges, a few did use other weapons (bats, bear spray)One nutter did have a stash of IEDs in his truck a couple of blocks from the Capitol. Trump told the crowd to peacefully march to the Capitol building. The US is not a freaking democracy, we are a republic. Yes it matters, and you morons who don't know the difference are screwing up the process and the function of this republic.
No matter how many media whores play the both-siderism game in pursuit of ratings, the truths that will be exposed over the coming weeks and months will only serve to destroy whatever credibility they have left.
How can anyone with functioning eyes, ears or brain cells say our mass media isn't in the pocket of the left (see the 7 years of orange man bad, starting with the ride down the escalator right up to your own screed here), or believe they have a molecule of credibility left after those 7 years and even before?
While cries of "I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down" may resonate with the braindead GOP 'base', it won't keep the long arm of the law from doing what needs to be done - and, in the end, WILL be done.
When will that long arm of the law you only like when it's reaching for dissenters grab the people who assaulted and torched local, state and federal government buildings, attacked police, business owners, and random people for grins and giggles, and looted their way across the country during your "summer of love"? When will it grab the people breaking our immigration laws and throw them back where they came from? The perverts who are abusing and grooming our children?
