1. It is interesting, isn't it?
In recent years the media has actually moved away from discussing mass shooters in detail, there’s been a lot of acknowledgement that school shooters especially can be influenced by “fame” of prior shooters (Columbine shooters for example, became folk heroes in some dark circles) and we see this playing out, I literally had to Google to remember the name of the Uvalde shooter yesterday because there had been so little coverage of him vs his victims and the authorities. I wonder why it is in non-school mass shootings that same tactic isn’t being pursued. There’s a huge focus on this particular shooter and I do think he’s being elevated to the fame position he clearly has been seeking for years.
Unsaid, and possibly unrealized, is that the reason so many get memory-holed by the MSM is that most shooters like this character fail to fit Progs' and the MSM's narrative. This current character doesn't seem to be especially political, but instead is obsessed with the fame and notoriety that the Columbine and Highland Park shooters got. So less unaware DUmmies get that it's time to move on and hope the next shooter fits the desired narrative.
