I haven't heard anything from or about MrsCorpio for a very long time; in fact, I'd assumed he might be dead, given that his violent hate and temperament tends to kill early.

I have never understood how the various  bureaucracies have such seemingly limitless power.  It's like they can do whatever the hell they want.  See the Covid era.

I'll bet the sparkling old dude is referring to Hillary 2016, and not Hillary 2008 when she was the most worthy candidate for the Democrat nomination, but got beat out by someone far less qualified than her.

If I remember correctly, the sparkling old dude was an enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama that year, despite his much-younger trophy wife being afeered of black folk.
