did you notice that they played Barracuda, by Heart, last night during the balloon drop?  Sarah's nickname in college was "Sarah Barracuda". :-)

well, nutz.  it turns out that Heart isn't happy about the mccan campaign using their song. :whatever:

though shit, I say.  the song is perfect. :-)

Meh I say. As long as they get their royalties for the public airing, I really think there is little that can be done other than foot stomping and negative press.

Several readers have suggested that perhaps one of the tech geeks charged with setting up the audio/visual bells and whistles for the evening was tasked with getting pictures of Walter Reed Army Medical Center but goofed and got this instead.

This was linked on Fark, which was linked to Daily Kos, which was linked to TPM.  This has legs.  :whatever:

Robin Roberts, Diane Sawyer, and a couple other hens on ABC were gleefully covering the dismantling of the GOP convention setup this morning.
