Republican National Convention - Day IV live thread
« on: September 04, 2008, 04:12:17 PM »
It's pretty much an anti-climax of an evening.

Quote
Thurday, September 4

McCain will accept the nomination on a day that will focus on national security and foreign affairs.

Other speakers include Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham and Florida Sen. Mel Martinez.
apres moi, le deluge

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."

well, maybe not.

the stage has been rebuilt to allow McCain to get very deep into the audience and be more intimate and personal. I think McCain has been having a lot of fun this week and we may see something different from him tonight simply because he is so charged up about Governor Palin.

the older daughter is coming over tonight to show us her new dog, but she doesnt have cable hooked up yet and she is really curious to see Governor Palin's speech last night. Apparently, all the Juicy Couture matrons were all aflutter about the governor..

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

So far I'm liking football better.   :uhsure:
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Not a single person can be found in the whole of the democrat party that has as much class as Cindy McClain.  Nowhere.
