Palin will not have one unmanaged moment for the rest of this campaign.
The Republicans can't afford it. Her canned speech was so mean and so full of blatant lies that they will not be able to let her off the leash for fear that she will step on her tongue. She left a lasting impression last night of a pit bull (her characterization)on a leash with one of those studded collars, straining, snarling, blood dripping from her molars. She solidified the Republican Party's image as the mean Party, the party of pit bulls. Americans are decent people (I hope) and they are not going to like that.

Sarah the pit bull. Sarah the mother who drags her baby before a howling mob. Sarah the pit bull. Perfect and she did it to herself.

The Bostonian Drunkard posted as "Temporary Sockpuppet" on Skins's island, admitting to some, uh, problems with teenaged girls.

The Bostonian Drunkard used to substitute-teach in high schools; he no longer does.

One wonders why.

Later on, some primitive--sorry, no links, because if I saved everything, I'd need a 3,000-megabillion megabyte computer--exiled from Skins's island posted details about some sort of really mysterious out-of-court settlement.

I heard a speech writer yesterday on Medved who said McCain took everyone off their leashes for the convention.. which is why we're seeing such passion and conviction going on there the past three days.

I for one, am happy to see it!

IF Bush's speech writer is the one who wrote Palin's speech last night, it just goes to show ya that the delivery is crucial.. and Palin looks to have mastered that well before she got on the national stage. GW is a very honorable man, but we can all agree his oratory skills are just nowhere near Palin's or the other people who have spoken this week. (Fred Thompson and Rudy were exceptional)

If McCain has told everyone to take the kid gloves off, GOOD... its about time!

He went from there to posting a windbag blog on a crackpot leftist "news" site, and lost that gig when he and Jason Leopold humiliated themselves by reporting Karl Rove's non-existent indictment. Rumor is that his family, which includes a few well-connected lawyers, has been able to craft a Michael Jackson-like solution to his dilemma.

It's no "rumor" that the Bostonian Drunkard's family tree is branched, loaded, with attorneys; it's true.

I believe it was the banned GovCorpActivist primitive who found there was some sort of out-of-court settlement involving the Bostonian Drunkard, but because such things are confidential and sealed, the specific details aren't a matter of public record.

Now, a sealed out-of-court settlement could be just about anything or everything, but look at the Bostonian Drunkard--what other possible mischief could he have done, besides this obvious one?

This bogus report by the drunkard and his drug-addled journalistic sidekick, Leopold, caused a frenzy in the DUmp unmatched until the Palin announcement.

Could he have gotten the idea of "Sealed" from his own experience with the criminal justice system? I do not know the sequence of these two Pitt-crushing events.

"Pedophile" might be too strong, depending on the age range involved (not that it's out of the question either), but if they were under the age of consent it would be rape.  Possibly, depending on the jurisdiction, students might be of consenting age, but the relationship would still violate either his contract or some educator-specific law, which could still lead to the storied sealed settlement.  However, my gut sense from the drift of the Sockpuppet posting, and PJ's numerous allusions to the matter, is that the age of consent part was indeed an issue.
