If you're using IE (I'm using 6, so it might be a bit different for later versions, but I doubt it), you can go to File->Save As and it should save the whole page, pictures and all.

I was saving them as "Webpage, complete (*.htm, *.html)" but that created an extra folder for all the pictures and you had to keep them together.  I started saving them as "Web Archive, single file (*.mht)".  That seems to work a lot better since it saves the entire page, pictures and all, as a single file.
