Top Obama Bundler Attempts to Storm Stage During Palin Speech

Jodie Evans, one of a group of about 500 top financiers who have bundled tens of thousands of dollars for the Obama campaign was seized by the Secret Service after she had made her way to side of the stage and and started to yell at Palin.

10:45 p.m. A pair of Code Pink activists just got to the very edge of the stage and were a moment away from apparently running on stage, right by the Kentucky slot on the floor next to a host of McCain's most senior staffers.

Secret Service men grabbed them at last minute and literally dragged them out.

Somehow I don't think rushing Sarah would have turned out quite the way they had planned. She's not exactly a lightweight.  :nunchuck:

true, I could not tell by seeing her onstage last night but my husband said she is about 5'11".  I know she can wrestle a polar bear til he cries uncle.

I didn't see it. Did it happen during the broadcast? I also noticed some sort of glass partition around the steps of the stage. Didn't look like it would have been easy to rush the stage.

I was watching on ABC last night.  Caught a glimps of teh moonbat being removed.  Figured it had to be a codepinko.

I missed it, but someone here pointed it out when it happened.

^LOL! I know, last night hubby stayed up to hear the speech - he usually turns in early because he gets up so early. I kept running in here to hop on the computer and I made him turn the TV up. :-)

Anybody know if the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher, the Proud2BLib primitive, has commented on this yet?

These pink underwear women are her pals; she seems to know all 38 of them by name.

It'll be interesting to read what the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher makes up about it.

It happened right before she made the hockey mom/pitbull joke. Was the joke off the cuff or had she planned it? Because I thought she said it to divert attention from what was happening off stage.

According to what I heard on Fox, Mike Wallace and his "guest"  were saying that there was a problem with her teleprompter, it was replaced and still a problem with the second one. When she made the hockey joke, it was off the cuff, while the teleprompter was trying to catch up with her.

If you noticed, she had her speech on hard copy on the podium and was referring to the hard copy.

Excellent speaking skills, in my opinion.....you would never have known there was a problem with the teleprompter. She obviously is either very good at knowing her speech and doesn't need to read it from a teleprompter.....or she gave a lot of the speech "off the cuff". Either way....very impressive!
