Disappeared media stories?

Not that there aren't enough other things for the media to cover, but did it seem to anyone else that the Kushner-Saudi bribe and the Ginny Thomas Insurrectionist stories disappeared from the public eye pretty damn fast?

4. TFG called the press the enemy of the people. I'm not sure he wasn't right.

But not in the way he meant it. He should be on his knees thanking the press. Not just the RW media. In general the media has trivialized, normalized, and enabled his rude, crude, abhorrent, criminal, and anti-democracy behavior.

5. Dems need to keep the story going. Republicans are experts at this.

That's why there were so many Benghazi investigations, and you couldn't see a Republican being interviewed who didn't throw in a Benghazi reference.

They are doing the same today with Hunter Biden's laptop. Every RW talker and politician is on message.

They know there is no "there" there. The whole point is to keep bringing it up, regardless of validity.

Recall when trump tried to extort Zelinsky. He didn't ask for an investigation into Hunter Biden. He asked for Zelensky to "announce" an investigation. Whether the investigation was real was of no importance. The announcement was enough to build the narrative.

We need to decide on a narrative, give it legs, have consistent messaging, and keep swinging the hammer in the media.

6. What further information is there?

Is the idea to just keep repeating them?

Ginni Thomas texted Meadows her batshit stuff about Jan. 6, and probably talked to her husband about it too.

That’s pretty much the whole story in a sentence. What else is there to know?

No, they aren’t talking about it and, no, Thomas doesn’t have to recuse from Jack Shit if he doesn’t want to. Congress isn’t going to impeach him, so what else is there to say?

I’ve seen this sort of complaint before, and would really like to know what, exactly, is supposed to be in the news about a story like that on a continuing basis. Can you explain that to me?

20. Investigate Ginni and Clarence's formal and informal social

There is much more to investigate:

Ginni is reported to have numerous associations with "hard right" people and groups. She is the owner of Liberty Consulting. She has Frank Gaffney as a client and then there are those Jan 6th emails to Mark Meadows. I want to know about the content in those emails and the nature of her relationship with "hard right" people and groups.

Plus Clarence's failure to recuse on a recent supreme court decision dealing with Jan6 needs further elaboration and response from the Chief Justice Roberts. If you view "hard right" as not "conservative" but essentially "reactionary" i.e. antidemocratic practices/policy, anti-egalitarian policy promoters, immoral libertarian practices of the "southern strategy" variety; then, there is a moral need to expose and punish if needed and/or possible their actions surrounding Jan6 events.

The Press and the House Jud. Com. hopefully will provide more substantive details. I find it a very incomplete story. ymmv

8. I haven't heard any updates on Trump taking sensitive documents to Mar a Lago either

It seems there would something new to report with these stories.

The other side has pundits like Hannity that keep things like Hunter Biden's laptop front and center, even when there is nothing new to report.

22. So, do you think the Democrats should have wasted time on "Kushner Committee" to generate buzz?

19. It is too much work, even here people do not want to know...

I've tried promoting this story and only a handful of people have cared. I'll keep doing it but I have little hope... For all the moaning the DOJ is doing nothing, the information is out there if you do in fact care:

 The deal between the Saudi investment fund and Kushner's Affinity Partners happened after Bogey Trump left office. Maybe even the MSM can't pretzellate something so obviously anachronistic into a "bribe".

 And apparently the MSM also cannot pretzellate Ginny Thomas involvement in the 1/6 Trump rally into participation in the riot in the Capitol ... because there was no connection.

When facts are "Reich-Wing" maybe the problem is not with the facts but in the fantasy Proggies wish the facts supported.
