How About THIS, Elon? You Buy Twitter, and Convert It to a Fact-Free Speech Zone...

...and we'll create thousands of fake news sites, showing fake scientific 'evidence' that Teslas cause impotence, testicular swelling, magnetism, and uncontrollable flatulence

Will create?

This is what you already do.

Wouldn't Elon, in that case, have the ability for relief through the courts? Wouldn't stuff like that be considered libel?
Liberals disgust me. (Now I don't have to remember to put it on each post).

Because only the left goes searching for that which is not there in a desperate attempt to be offended about something.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

If they were even 1/100th as smart as they like to believe they are, they'd almost be dangerous.

1. That's what Twitter already is.

2. Not necessary. ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and PBS already are "fake news sites".

3. Kennedy Trust-Fund-Scion RFK Jr. is an expert in crafting and disseminating absurd lies like that. He'd be a perfect consultant for that project. Just don't say "Covid" or "Vaccine" in his presence. :rotf: .
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Let's create a running 'in-joke' that nobody's in on.

-Oh, wait.  Twitter won't be adding fake followers anymore.

One of the proposals that have been put out there is to have charging stations, instead of charging the battery will replace it with a pre-charged battery. Drop off your depleted battery, get a charged battery in 5 to 10 minutes, you take off, they charge your old battery and put it in another vehicle. Don't know the logistics of this but it sounds good if they could make it work and eliminates the need to buy a replacement battery in 5 to 10 years.

My wife wanted a golf cart to travel to her bee hives. Upon looking for something inexpensive,  there were plenty that cost sub 1k...just needed batteries. The batteries would cost about the same or more as the whole golf cart. The other solution is to rip out the battery setup and put in a gas predator engine setup for 150 and install that for well under 500. Scale that up for cars and you'll see some ls swap model s projects coming soon for cheap

Brilliant!

Only problem is you might be getting a relatively end of life battery for a newer battery. Like the propane tank exchanges. You take an out of date or close to out of date tank and look for a tank that has a newer date code.

I always knew that people at DU grossly overestimated their own brain power, but this is absurd even for them. They really think they thought of something Musk didn't consider?  :whatever:

I assume this is a swipe at free speech, the implication being that disinformation (one of the left's buzzwords) will rule the day if speech is too free.

The thing is, Twitter as it is now doesn't stop disinformation, or create civility, or any of the other stated goals relating to speech. It just ensures that disinformation, abuse, and the like go in one direction.

It would be far easier to setup the infrastructure for what GM was working on prior to getting bought up and becoming  Gub'mint Motors: hydrogen fuel cell technology.

Unfortunately the powers that be want "electric vehicles" that are just battery operated toys instead of electric vehicles with most of the mobility of internal combustion.
