I haven't seen last night's SNL but hubby told me their Biden actor appeared to have dementia.

I've seen them do that before and it makes me sick.

On update: thinking about it, he might have said the Biden depiction was part of a news skit. So I don't know what happened exactly, but hubby's less political than I am, so if he was bothered it must have been nasty.

SNL doesn't need writers to make it appear that Joe's got dementia, he provides all his own material.

After four years (and counting) of a blithering idiot who could not articulate the language, and tried to overthrow the democracy I cherish, I don't find their Biden skits particularly funny.

Time for SNL to go the way of Bill Mahr's crap. 

As many dumb things Trump said, the writers still had to add dialogue to try to make his quotes semi-humorous.  Biden's quotes stand on their own without any embellishment.

A couple days ago du was all pissed at colbert for his Biden joke, now snl is the bad guy. Guess what, these are comedy shows that are obviously pro Biden and anti trump so I don’t understand du members trying to hurt them.

Dummy actually admits the MSM is overwhelmingly left-leaning.  Next they might admit that a lot of what they believe about Republicans is distorted media spin.

That whole thread over there is hilarious!  pnwmom is all over the place screeching about how it isn't right to portray Joe uh, uh, you know the thing, Biden as having dementia.  IT'S NOT FUNNY!!  Oh, but the skit they posted about Reagan is hilarious to her.   :rotf:

When SNL first started in 1975, they mocked former President Nixon and then President Ford relentlessly.  Same with every President until Barack Hussein Obama, when he was deemed off-limits.  A proverbial woketopia because the sainted One was too cool for school.  Obviously we all know how the late night shows treated President Trump.

Everyone is fair game in politics, regardless of party/race/gender/lack-there-of.  Johnny Carson/David Letterman/Jay Leno/Conan, et al used to ridicule everyone equally. Eventually Letterman got old and bitter and stopped being funny, just attacking conservatives. It seems that the other late night hosts simply followed suit and started singing from the Democrat party sheet music rather than entertaining audiences.
